Currently, I am searching for candidates to join the Team at Savoy Group in Sharm El Sheikh as : HSE Safety Manager Basic Requirements: The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience as a HSE Lead Engineer / Manager with the last 5 years on a managerial level; you will also be degree qualified in a related subject and have relevant certificates including NEBOSH and would have worked on large notable projects, preferably hotels and high rise. • Ensure that all the Company’s HSE requirements outlined in the Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (HSEMS) are carried out and monitored periodically or at the start of new activities. • Advise Management on all HSE issues including the changes to the HSEMS and any standards and procedures that have been updated due to new activities or revised legislation etc. • Coordinate and plan the Company’s HSE training along with the General Manager-HR & Development. • Develop, review, follow-up and update the HSE standards/requirements for all disciplines on Company level (criteria, syllabi, matrixes) in accordance with international training standards and procedures. • Initiate, prepare and conduct HSE audits of all the Company’s facilities and to ensure enhancement and compliance with international standards and procedures. • Coordinate and evaluate all accident and incident statistics and ensure accident investigation is carried out in accordance with the HSEMS. • Ensure coordination of all HSE activities and prepare periodic reports to Management. • To liaise between the concerned authorities (bodies) and the Company to ensure compliance with current laws, regulations and legislation thereby updating Company policies and procedures. • He is responsible for safety matters related to his areas of supervision. • He is fully accountable for HSE Policy & Procedures, which are in place. • To ensure compliance with company Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) policy. • To conform to the Company’s guidelines related to his area as detailed in the Company’s Quality Assurance Program developed on the basis of ISO 9001:2000 Q.M.S. • To perform any other duties requested by his superiors out of normal routine but within the scope of work. Candidates should be ready to relocate in Sharm el Sheikh, as the hotel is based in Sharm. Work will be for direct 23 days followed by 7 days’ vacation, as per the vacation plan of the department.
