SAY IT ON SUNDAY Do you remember last Sunday I said I was going to start this session ,as it may help people when they are thinking of buying crafty equipment. This week I am looking at the INKLICIOUS BRUSHES. I have probably had mine for nearly 2 years now.In all honesty I would not say I have used them an awful lot,but have just started to more recently since investing in masks as well as cutting out my own masks on the Cricut Explore.They have a different effect when blending compared to using the make up sponges which I also use. I found that if I tested them first on scrap paper and not going direct to your project I got a more softer subtle blend.This was found due to trial and error lots of card fronts with strong harsh blend lines. Using the right tecnques with these brushes will definitely help you get the look you are ofter ,so I suppose practice a lot on little scraps of card and you will soon have wonderful masterpieces. The brushes themselves are very hardwearing and have never shed any of their bristles since I have had them. These are not cheap ,and if you are after them why not ask to borrow one from a friend or just purchase one at first to see if they are for you. If you want to try them out before you buy I will have these with me at our group on Wednesday so please just remind me to bring them along. If you have any opinions ,hints and tips on these brushes let us know so we can make our own informed decisions before spending our hard earned pennies.
