SAY NO TO CITIBANK as it “HIDES A LOT” My journey started with Citibank when i joined Ericsson in year Oct-2011 with an account no 5515***225. Everything went good and i used to get lot of calls and messages about different services of Citibank. I have been using both Debit and credit card of Citibank. But the surprise came in the month of May on the Occasion of Worlds Labour Day. I checked my last month account statement and to my surprise a amount of 500 rupees got deducted from it for every month starting since Nov 2013. I called the customer care and the person on other side told me it is service tax which CITIBANK charges when your Accounts gets converted to Individual account . I asked whether any intimation is given by the bank and to my surprise its only through mail. My questions to Citibank are: 1) Why there is no intimation given to me through sms or call about this matter. There are always intimation about new services and offering but not of such important matters. 2) For every amount credited or debited on my Citibank account i receives a sms but no sms was given for Rs 500 being taken of my account every month. 3) How could i get reversal of my hard earned Money? This amounts seems to be a niche one of 500 bucks but there might be lakhs of account holder who are being cheated by Citibank on this basis and many more. So its my humble request to all to check your statement of Citibank on monthly basis as CITIBANK HIDES a LOT and FOOLS ITS Customers. For me and for many more people who have faced the same problem says NO MORE OF CITIBANK.
