SB 193 UPDATE The LPO team won a victory today, thanks to you! But we need to turn up the pressure even more, so go to LPO.org and act on the items in the lead story. We fully expected SB 193—which would immediately remove the LPO from the 2014 Ohio ballot and make it almost impossible to get back on—to be passed by the Ohio Senate Government Reform & Oversight Committee TODAY. But we turned up the pressure, and they punted today. We expect another chance to testify next week, and it appears key Republicans are willing to sit down with us to get an election law that preserves our First Amendment rights to exist and participate as a party without unfair laws keeping us down. LPO Executive Committee Chair Kevin Knedler, Political Director Bob Bridges, Governor Candidate Charlie Earl, Ohio House Candidate Gregg Norris (83rd district), and Central Committee Chairman Aaron Keith Harris testified before the committee yesterday, letting them know that we are organized, we are watching, and we are not going away.
