SCAM......... SCAM........SCAM Just thought I should let you all know that I received a letter from McCollum & Associates from Minneapolis, ms. The letter introduces who is writing to me and then explains as to he must solicit my confidence. This guy was in Toronto and got a hold of my parents address somehow...any now he goes on to say that a lost relative had passed away and is now leaving 6,970,000.00 in swiss francs. She had passed in 2006, and he found that dad is a long lost survivor and wants to claim the monies for him as there are no other family . He only wants 10% to share among charity and 90% to share between him and dad. Goes on saying that he would like to have a high level of confidence and secrecy and wants this cleared within 30 business days from date of receipt of consent. All looks good lawyers letterhead. Upon checking this out this company is no longer in service. Phone #, e-mail address does not exist. Just thought I would share with you just in case someone else receives a notice like this. One hell of a big scam.
