****SCARED AND LONELY AND HAS NO ONE TO TRUST**** Little Yonkers is having a hard time adjusting to staying in a tiny cage at Brooklyn ACC 24 x 7. She’s finding it hard to trust all those strangers who pass her by, listening to all those barking dogs. Like many small dogs, Yonkers has decided that she’s “fighting for her life” and protecting the only territory that’s hers—that cage. So when they came to take her out for her behavioral eval, Yonkers decided she’d better not let them take her. Of course, one might have a bit more confidence in that eval if the assessor didn’t keep referring to this little girl as a “he”! ACC has decided that Yonkers has to go and they’ve put her on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, Yonkers is pleading for that one person out there who knows how scared and confused she is; how much she wants to live the little royal princess life she so deserves. Her people never came but let their loss be your gain! If you’re ready for a young, 10 lb ball of fluff who will make you smile for years to come, start working with rescues to foster or adopt Yonkers.
