SCASDs Board of Directors approves Mr. Joe Walker as the new Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Mondays board meeting. Mr. Walker teaches 7th grade Science at Mount Nittany Middle School, and he said of his hiring, I am honored to be selected as the new coach for the State College Boys Basketball program. The program is rich in history and I look forward to contributing to its continuing success. As a former player in the area, it was always exciting to play State College. I am just as excited for the opportunity to coach in this district withs such high standards for education and athletics. I look forward to sharing my love, energy, and enthusiasm for the game of basketball with my players and the community.
