SCENE: Jesus feeding the multitude as the Tea Party Jesus JESUS: Whew, its late and Im hungry PETER: Are we gonna feed these 10,000 people? JESUS: Of course not. Were not some bleeding heart liberals! At lleast 47% of them are just lazy and should have brought their own food. Probably drinking wine and smoking hyssop. Send them home. PETER: What about their kids? JESUS: Those people shouldnt have had them i f they couldnt feed em. PETER: Sooo, we feed the 53% who are left? JESUS: Well, yes, BUT Ive been doing lots of miracles lately and need to cut back by 40%. So, cut each miracle fish and the bread back by this much. PETER: Look, they are starting to faint from hunger and its gonna take a long time to cut each fish and loaf... JESUS: Well, they shouldnt be here if they were that hungry. And you 12 and I need to eat first, anyway. Pass the fish, John. PETER: The kids are crying from hunger and fainting JESUS: Thats a shame they have parents who are deadbeats, well feed them as soon as we have eaten OUR fill. Have another fish, James. Seems to me the Christian Tea Party have misinterpreted the scriptures. Just sayin
