SCHOOL OF ECONOMIC AND REGIONAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT OF BALKAN, SLAVIC AND ORIENTAL STUDIES MASTER’S DEGREE IN HISTORY, ANTHROPOLOGY AND CULTURE IN EASTERN AND SOUTH EASTERN EUROPE Τhe Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies is offering for the academic year 2014-2015 (February 2015 intake) a Master’s degree in History, Anthropology and Culture in Eastern and South- Eastern Europe. The Masters degree belongs to the Joint Degree Network of the University of Graz: jointdegree.eu/seeh/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3%3Apartners&catid=41%3Acatpartners&Itemid=5&lang=en Entry Requirements: Candidates should hold a first degree preferably in the Humanities, Social and Political Sciences or Area Studies Department, but any other field will be considered. Candidates are required to submit the following documents: 1. An application form with a personal statement of purpose. 2. Curriculum Vitae. 3. Copies of first degree and related transcripts, translated into either English or Greek where necessary. 4. Proof of proficiency in English. 5. For international students - proof of proficiency in Greek. 6. Two letters of recommendation. Job experience, proficiency of other languages, and holding of a postgraduate degree are welcome and will be additionally evaluated.
