SCIENTIFIC FACTS IN THE BIBLE It is interesting to not that scientists are beginning to understand that the universe is expanding or stretching out. At least seven time in Scripture we are told that FOD stretches out the havens like a curtain: Isaiah 40:22 It is HE that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; the stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in. GOD created the lights in the heavens for signs and seasons, and for days and years. Genesis 1:14 And GOD said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.. Trough the marvels of astronomy we now understand that a year is the time required for the earth to travel once around the sun. The seasons are caused by the changing position of the earth in relation to the sun--astronomers can tell exactly from the earths motion around the sun when one season ends and the next one begins (Worldbook Multimedia Encyclopedia). We also now understand that a month [is] the time of one revolution of the moon around the earth with respect to the sun (Encyclopedia Britannica). How could Moses (the accepted author of Genesis) have known 3,500 years ago that the lights of the sun and moon were the actual determining factors of the years length, unless his words were inspired by GOD. (EVOLUTION IS A PROVEN FACT): At one time scientists didnt know that the surface of the Earth was spinning at over 1,000 mph., that the continents move, and that bowling balls dont fall faster than marbles. No doubt many things science teaches as truth today will be laughed at in one hundred years. LIFES ORGINS--THE EVER--CHANGING MIND OF SCIENCE According to an NBC News report in August 1999, there was a remarkable discovery in Australia. They said the (Journal Science reported that they had found what they considered to be proof that life appeared on earth 2.7 billion years ago---a billion years earlier than previously thought. They now admit that they were wrong in their first estimate (a mere 1,000,000,000 years off), but with this discovery they are now sure that they have the truth...... UNTIL THEIR NEXT DISCOVERY. CBS News reported in October 1999 that discoveries were made of the bones of an unknown animal in Asia that may be as much as 40 million years old. This changed scientific minds as to where man first originated. Scientists once believed that primates evolved in Africa, but now they think they may be wrong, and that mans ancestors may have originated in Asia. SO THEY BELIEVE...... UNTIL THE NEXT DISCOVERY! USA Today (March 21,2001) reported, Paleontologists have discovered a new skeleton in the closet of human ancestry that is likely to force science to re vise, if not scrap, current theories of human origins. RUTERS reported that the discovery left scientists of human evolution.....confused, saying, Lucy may not even be a direct human ancestor after all. Regardless, many people have been led to believe that science deals in certainties and provide us with facts and proofs that we can place our trust in. But the field of science actually cannot give us any knowledge at all. Despite the fact that the very meaning of the word science is knowledge, science can never truly k now anything definitively, as Bertrand Russell explains: A religious creed differs from a scientific theory in claiming to embody eternal and absolutely certain truth, whereas science is always tentative, expecting that modification in its present theories will sooner or later be found necessary, and aware that its method is one which is logically incapable of arriving at a complete and final demonstration. Richard Phillips Feynman, and accomplished American physicist states: If you thought that science was certain--well, that is just an error on your part. Since all scientific statements are open to reevaluation as new data is acquired, the reality is that science can never establish anything as truth ! or fact ! No scientific statement is ever formally beyond question. So whenever PROOF is mentioned in a scientific context, it is inaccurate.. Why then would evolutionists falsely claim that evolution is a fact and we dont need to prove it anymore? Perhaps thy try to convince people that evolution has already been conclusively proven because thy have no actual proof to offer. there is no concrete evidence for the theory of evolution. There isnt any. It is simply an idea that cannot be backed up with evidence. How then can anyone think that the theory of evolution is scientific? Information theorist: Hubert Yockey rightly observed: One must conclude that, contrary to the established and current wisdom, a scenario describing the genesis of life on earth by chance and natural causes which can be accepted on the basis of fact and not FAITH has not yet been written. THE PEPPERED MOTH: EVOLUTION COMES UNGLUED!! Almost all textbooks on evolution include the Peppered Moth as the classic example of evolution by natural selection. There are two types of Peppered Moths, a Light-colored speckled variety and a Dark-colored. Most Peppered Moths in England were the Light Moths, a Light-colored speckled variety, which were camouflaged as they rested on tree trunks. The Black variety stood out against the light bark and were easily seen and eaten by birds. But as the industrial revolution created pollution that covered tree trunks with soot, the dark Variety was camouflaged better, so birds ate more of the Light Moths. The Peppered Moth story has been trumpeted since the 1950s as PROOF POSITIVE that Evolution by Natural Selection is true. In 1978, one famous geneticist called the Peppered Moth the clearest case in which a conspicuous evolutionary process has actually been observed. HOWEVER, this CLEAREST-CASE of purported Darwinian Evolution by Natural Selection is NOT TRUE!!!! The nocturnal Peppered Moth does not rest on the trunks of trees durning the day. In fact, despite over 40 years of intense field study, only two Peppered Moths have been ever seen naturally resting on tree trunks !!! So where did all the EVOLUTION TEXTBOOK pictures of Peppered Moths on different colored tree trunks come from?? THEY WERE STAGED . THE MOTHS WERE GLUED, PINNED, OR PLACED ONTO THE TREE TRUNKS AND THEIR PICTURES TAKEN!! The scientists who used these pictures in their books to prove evolution all conveniently forgot to tell their readers this FACT!! If the best example of Evolution is NOT TRUE... how about all their other supposed examples? It makes one wonder does it not. EVOLUTION HUMOR... Its humorous that evolutionists cite the Peppered Moth as their best example, enabling them to watch evolution in action. Watch closely: Before the Moths environment changed, some were mostly WHITE some were BLACK. No new color or variety came into being, yet we have supposedly, JUST WITNESSED EVOLUTION!!!!! Evolutionist John Reader (Missing Links) explains this biased interpretation: Ever since Darwins work...preconceptions have led evidence by the nose. Harvard professor and evolutionist Steven Jay Gould: admits this scientific bias, Facts do not speak for themselves; they read in light of THEORY!! Even CHARLES DARWIN concedes, Alas, how frequent, how almost universal it is in an author to persuade himself of the truth of his own dogmas.
