Featured in the SCORE spotlight from the finish line in La Paz will be overall and SCORE Trophy Truck champions Rob MacCachren/Andy McMillin/Jason Voss, second place overall and SCORE Trophy Truck finishers Luke McMillin/Dan McMillin and third place overall and SCORE Trophy Truck finisher Cameron Steele. Justin Davis, who won the unlimited Class 1 and was fifth overall along with second place Class 1 finishers Justin Matney/Kellon Walch will also be in the SCORE spotlight. Included in the exclusive finish line interviews from La Paz will be Steven Eugenio/T.J. Flores, who finished seventh in SCORE Trophy Truck which unofficially gave Eugenio the SCORE Trophy Truck season point championship in his rookie season in the marquee SCORE racing division for high-tech, 850-horsepower unlimited production trucks. The granddaddy of all desert races was the season finale of the five-race 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship, as this year’s iconic adventure, lastTuesday through Saturday, was a race of approximately 1,275 miles down Mexico’s majestic Baja California peninsula, starting in Ensenada, Baja California Norte and finishing in La Paz, Baja California Sur. After its live airing tonight at score-international, it will be re-broadcast continuously on the SCORE website throughout the week ahead. For Las Vegas’ MacCachren, the victory was his seventh class win and second overall victory in the SCORE Baja 1000. For San Diego’s Andy McMillin, it was his fourth class and fourth overall win in the world’s best known desert race. It was also the first overall win for Voss, who finished second overall this year at the Tecate SCORE Baja 500 in early June. Coordinated by SCORE DirtLive HD creator and producer George Antill, tonight’s show will capture much of the flavor and essence of the finish line excitement of the Granddaddy of all Desert Races. SCORE produces the five-race SCORE World Desert Championship in the U.S. and Mexico that features competition in 25 Pro and 5 Sportsman classes for cars, trucks, UTVs, motorcycles and ATVs. Enjoying its 41st season in 2014 as the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization, SCORE International and its racers are featured on the weekly SCORE DirtLive HD broadcasts.
