*#SCOTUS got it right today-, honoring the founding fathers intent to prevent the types of general warrant search and seizures they faced under colonial rule. The police _must_ get a warrant, except in very extreme circumstances, to search your cell phone. I hope it is only a matter of time until the Federal executive branchs intelligence (#nsa #cia) and policing (#fbi) forces are brought into check under the same reasoning. Its not that we want the criminals/terrorists/pedophiles to win... Its that we cant let the tyrants win, because thats the long, bloody road The United States was born along.
