SCOUT O RAMA Okay Pack leaders and families we had a meeting tonight concerning the Scout O Rama at Union Point on the September 13 and 14. AS of now the activities and times below are being set into a schedule, FRIDAY 1884 Movie and Popcorn Friday Night(584 can help with cost of corn) Taps at 10 pm provided by NJROTC SATURDAY Revely at 7 am with all units participation by unit flag bearer at 8 for Flag Ceremony 683 Pinewood Derby 2 demonstrations for 2 hours in length during Saturday 13 Obstacle Course will be 2 hours of participation in the a.m. and 2 hours in the p.m. 584 Raingutter Regatta will be 2 hours in the a.m and 2 hours in the p.m. 1884 will be doing Paracord Bracelets all day long. 584 Cooking demos all day We are being encouraged to set out donation jars. We can have drinks, snacks, other foods available to give the visitors for donation. We have been encouraged to have a unit display tent so that we can show off our individual units. The only bathrooms available are the ones that are on site. If your unit wishes to rent and pay for your own potty you can do that. The Troops and Crew have graciously decided to take on the responsibility of any cost incurred by the District for permits and such. I need numbers from each unit asap. If we are going to cook and eat together, I need unit leaders to make contact with me so we can work it out. I propose Pizza Pockets. They seem to be a big hit. We will be having security patrols Friday night. The parking in Union Point is going to be closed off to vehicles. The boat ramp is also going to be closed off.
