SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY TUESDAY 18/03/2014. CONVICTION AND TRUST IN THE LORD LEADS TO ULTIMATE VICTORY. THE LORD IS CLOSE TO EVERYONE WHO PRAYS...’ PSALM 145:18 Gods help is always available, but it is given only to those who seek Him. Nothing results from apathy. God honours consistent and constant faith. When arks are built, lives are saved. When armies march, walls tumble. When a lunch is shared, thousands are fed. And when His garment is touched, whether by the hand of a diseased woman in Galilee, or your hand - Jesus stops. He always responds to faith. Listen: Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace... (Mark 5:34 NKJ). Maybe all you have today is a conviction and a hope. You feel like you have nothing to give - you are hurting and all you have to offer Jesus is your pain. Perhaps your past has kept you from coming to Him; you have taken a step in His direction, then you saw all the other people around Him. They seemed so together, so much better than you. And when you saw them they blocked your view of Him so you stepped back. If that describes you, notice something interesting: one of the only two people Jesus ever commended for having faith was not a wealthy giver, a loyal follower or an acclaimed teacher. No, it was a shame-struck, penniless outcast who had been haemorrhaging for 12 years, who clung to her conviction that He could and her hope that He would. This, by the way, is a good place to start and a good definition of faith; a conviction that God can, and a hope that He will! RECOMMENDED PRAYER POINTS. Let your mighty hand be upon me today in Jesus Name. I pray for your protection in every area of my life In Jesus Name. I destroy every wickedness that has been assigned on my area in Jesus Name. I nullify every weapon of the enemy in my life in Jesus Name. Let your blood wipe out every season of frustration in my life in Jesus Name. Take control of my family, spouse, children, job, school, ministry, church, etc today in Jesus name.. Lead me in your ways and guide me in your truth in Jesus Mighty Name I pray. Amen.
