SCRUMMAGE: Why are we so eager to post the Isipatana achievements on our site. Why are we so eager to provide an ego boost to Isipatana. Why are we so eager to run ourselves down and reduce our self esteem further. We lost to Isipatana by a whisker. Knockouts loss to Royal was not a loss. Do not forget the 83/00 drubbing we got in 2002. Do not forget the low ebb that TCK Rugby descended to. Let us appreciate all the good work done by the Scrummage over the years. The Balasuriyas, Jayawardenas, Fernandos, Kalugampitiyas, Kehelpannalas and so many others did not sweat in vain. Today, Trinity Rugby is on a firm footing. What we badly need is an old Trinitian in the calibre of a Bertie Dias or a Denzil Kobbekaduwa or an Alex Lazarus in the twenties or thirties who could be an understudy to these foreign coaches who can take over from there!!
