SCVGS plans to tackle another cemetery project. Over the course of two days SCVGS volunteers will transcribe and photograph gravestones and markers at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Trenton Township, Pierce County, Wisconsin. Volunteers will assemble on September 4th and 6th to walk the cemetery, which has over 300 burials. The transcriptions and photos will be used to create memorials on FindAGrave. FindAGrave is a free website made up of memorials created by volunteers for locations throughout the world, organized by cemetery. Updates on the progress of the project will be forthcoming in future editions of the PIPOST and here.
