SEASONAL GREETINGS (from France) TO ALL FELLOW MEMBERS of the best fb group in the world,wherever you are now living. As I get older I find that time passes by so very very quickly....it only seems 10 minutes ago ...BUT........ 44 years ago in December 1970 we moved to Lowestoft from Yorkshire because dad got promoted on British Railways.(I was 15) I took my O levels at Kirkley High School. I was proud to police OUR town as a constable and later as a sergeant. 31 years ago I married the French teacher of St.Felix School,Southwold. Both my babies born at James Paget.are now 28 and 26....and have now flown the nest,both having super jobs,one of is which is ranked in the military,the other means working in France,Japan,the UK and 4 times of 6 weeks to the USA THAT 25 YEARS ago last week,(Dec 1989) I sold my house in order to move to France.....41 Rowan Way,Oulton Broad,to Mr and Mrs Hawkins who glued egg cartons to the garage walls for a bit of sound-proofing and their young sons Justin and Dan learnt their musical trade and became world famous THE DARKNESS. Can you remember this medieval carol song,sang in Latin which became a hit in the early 70s ? See you all in July....cant wait for Lowestoft fish and chips !!! :-)
