SECOND SATURDAYS AT FALKIRK GARDEN SERIES – 2013/2014 These garden talks are offered at the beautiful grounds of Falkirk Cultural Center in San Rafael, a lovely turn-of-the-century estate now owned by the City of San Rafael. Master Gardeners of Marin, in conjunction with the Friends of Falkirk Gardens, offer a monthly series of informative garden talks with either demonstrations or hands-on experience in learning about important elements of horticulturally correct garden practices. All talks take place in one of the Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens at Falkirk, 1408 Mission Avenue in San Rafael (across the street from the San Rafael Library). The charge for the talks is $5.00 and snacks and good company are provided. All participants are invited to join the work parties in the gardens afterward to join in the community of gardeners. Wear work clothes and gardening gloves! Events will be cancelled only due to substantial rains!
