SEEK DAILY (NBC) Monday, June 17 Psalm 19:1-6 THE HANDIWORK OF GOD “…the firmament sheweth forth his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1b, KJV One of the theories of creation claims that the universe came to be by chance. This is outrightly absurd as we are surrounded by several glorious displays of God’s craftsmanship, which all point to the evidence of His existence, power, love and care. The kind of design, intricacy and orderliness seen in creation serves as proof of a personally involved Creator. Though nature cannot give its testimony in human speech, yet it gives a silent and magnificent witness to the Creator’s wisdom and power. As we behold God’s craftsmanship in nature, we should thank Him for the magnificent beauty of His handiwork. We should also serve as witnesses of His love and power to this unbelieving world. Creation alone cannot adequately proclaim and reveal God’s love and plan; thus, as human beings we must make His way known in our own generation. If nature acknowledges God, how about you whom He created in His very image? You ought to do far more and better than any other creature by praising Him all the time. Remember, His breath is in you!
