SEEK DAILY (NBC) Saturday, October 4 Psalm 56:8-13 IN GOD I TRUST In God I trust…what can man do to me? Psalm 56:11, NIV God requires that we are not unequally yoked with unbelievers. He desires that our lifestyles should be a clear departure from what operates in the world. Many, if not most of those professing faith in the Lord, are often not very different from others in character, attitudes and behaviour. They find it difficult to disentangle themselves from the world system and people. Note that the children of the world are wise in their own generation. They have a way of exercising unhealthy influences over others so as to create fear, feelings of uncertainty or ungodly desires, confusion and so on. Believers must stand on the Word and promises of God, confessing ceaselessly that “In God I trust… what can man do to me?” David was a man who was faced with lot of opposition but he held on to God and got relief from all his enemies. Your case will not be different, just trust in the Lord.
