SEGREGATION AND POLICE VIOLENCE Thirty years ago we discussed the separate but equal segregation in Americas inner cities. A study out today shows that it still exists, but has shifted from the inner cities to the suburbs, suburbs such as Ferguson, Missouri, where most of the inhabitants are Black and poverty is higher than in most other locales. america.aljazeera/articles/2014/12/3/racial-segregationamericansuburbs.html Activists should take heart that protests can influence change. The Black-led protests in Ferguson have expanded across the nation in hundreds of cities, and even into the nations capitol. Members of Congress have stood with hands up repeating the chant, Hands up, dont shoot, and are pushing for legislation to influence change to what appears to be a relatively common practice of police violence from Coast to Coast, although the numbers of police killings are covered up. --Jack Balkwill politico/story/2014/12/lawmakers-ferguson-hands-up-113254.html?ml=po To join the Liberty Underground news service go here: luvnews.info/Join.htm or join our Facebook group here: https://facebook/groups/461619557192964/ email: libertyuv@hotmail Tell your friends about LUV News because some people just dont get it
