The role of each constituent of SELCON-Forte™ : SELENIUM : The organic selenium gets deposited in the tissues and remains there for a longer period when myxoviruses prey on selenium and as a result it attenuates myxoviruses. ZINC : Is an essential element in the metabolic process of a living cell. Zinc protects the tissues and maintains the integrity by preventing the invasion of pathogens. Zinc also simulates the epithelial cells to produce antibodies & thereby enhances the immunity against viral infections including myxoviral infections. COPPER : Copper is vital in the body as a component or co-factor in enzyme systems involved in metabolism and immune functions.
