SENATOR (DR) IFEANYI OKOWA: POSITIONED TO REPOSITION DELTA STATE IN CHANGING TIMES. -MR VINCENT JUDE OSHIAGWU " Give me a space under the sun and I will shake the world". Archimedes, the great Greek Mathematician and scientific genius in this epic quote offers a veritable insight into the immense visionary mindset of a particularly intriguing and enigmatic achiever: Senator (Dr) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa. This Ika son, a visionary man of immense great faith,who believes in the divinely inherent triumph of the infinite power of good intention to surmount even the greatest barrier, has reposed implicit conviction in the sheer force of his visionary power and great ideas to propel and position himself to the vantage pedestal, compatible with the utilisation of his vast store of endowment for the beneficial service of his people and our dear Delta state. No wonder the calls from all angles and all walks of life for this amiable senator to run for the governorship seat of the Delta state in 2015. For those who do not know him too well, Dr. Okowa is a man who will not leave any stone unturned to add value and touch lives. He believes that when a man assumes a public trust, he becomes a public property and as such the care of human life and happiness, not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate objective of good government. As the race to UNITY HOUSE, Asaba begins, I am actuated, by personal conviction that this humble, amiable and indefatigable grass root mobiliser is the right man for the plum job. His experience in politics speaks volume and I believe this is the conviction of many Deltans. When a man transcends private comfort to comfort others, especially in this changing times, such a man is a man of purpose positioned by GOD Almighty to re-position his community, state and country at large. In speaking of his own leadership cost, Jesus the Christ declared to his disciples "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant ". Let us therefore, follow this admonition and tap the untapped in Dr. Okowa and release the reservoir of the wealth of knowledge and experience deposited in him. To conclude my assertion, I am really more than convinced that he (Dr. Okowa) will not fail his people when voted into power as governor of Delta state in 2015. I also admire Archimedes when he said "Give me a space under the sun and I will shake the world". Dr. Okowa is a crowd puller and given the chance to serve his people will definitely shake Delta state and re-position her to the path of greatness to meet the yearning and aspirations of our people.
