SENIOR TECHNICAL ELECTRICIAN (LEVEL 1) - SASREF QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Secondary (Science) education + 3 years formal training leading to Electrical Diploma or C&Guilds Part III or equivalent. 8 years experience of electrical work in the oil or petrochemical industry including 3 years on T&I work. Very good English language skills and competent in the use of PC applications (MS Office suite or equivalent). JOB PURPOSE: Perform electrical testing and inspection of high voltage protective relays and their associated control circuits. Execute special testing of fixed, portable and contractor electrical equipment. Provide technical support in troubleshooting electrical equipment failures throughout the plant.
