SENIOR WEEK PART DEUX OCT 10-11, 2014 ROOM/CONDO UNIT RESERVATIONS: First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their patience- the process of making reservations at Golden Sands proved to be a little more difficult than anticipated- as each unit is individually owned, had individual minimums, and rates...it was CRAZY to NEGOTIATE. I also spoke to several classmates that only wanted to stay one night- so I secured a block of hotel rooms. Soooo..A BIG THANK YOU goes out Brian Riggles and Cathy Tarr at Golden Sands who managed to get us simplified, pre-negotiated rates for all available units. So if you wish to stay at Golden Sands, the party who is securing the room must guarantee the room for a TWO NIGHT MINIMUM. You also must bring your own linens, but the units that have multiple bedrooms also have their own private baths- so this is conducive for classmates to share the cost of the unit, and have their own private living space. The rates below reflect the TOTAL RATE for 2 NIGHTS in each unit type: RATE: TYPE SLEEPS $228.00 STUDIO 2 $300.00 1 BEDROOM 4 $350.00 1 BEDROOM W/ DEN 6 $350.00 2 BEDROOM, 2 BATH 6 $400-$450 3 BEDROOM, 3 BATH 8 So for example- if 3 couples rent a 2brm, 2 bath unit, the cost would be $116.00 PER COUPLE for the entire weekend.
