SERENITY- Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 119-165 When you encounter unfortunate circumstances that are beyond your power to control. heres a proven way to retain your sanity: accept those circumstances ( no matter how unpleasant) and trust God. The American Theologian Reinhold Niebuhr composed a profoundly simple verse that came to be known as the Serenity Prayer: God, grant me that courage to change the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Niebuhrs words are far easier to recite than they are to live by Why ? Because most of us want to unfold in accordance with our own wishes and timetables. But sometimes God has other plans. When you trust God, you can be comforted in the knowledge that your Creator is both loving and wise, and that He understand His plans perfectly, even when you do not. Prayer Today, Lord, I cast all my worries and my will into Your hands, knowing that You will sustain me and will lead me to the path of Your blessing. As I trust You with all my heart and lean not in my own understanding I will walk with Your great blessing and peace. In Jesus Name, Amen.
