SERENITY Look into the stillness of the water an you will see the undistorted reflection is staring back at you and let all the negative thoughts leave you. If you can do this you are on your way to finding serenity in your life. To find that inner peace that we all have inside of us, even if you think you cant, one has to try or you will never truly find that peace that lays just under the surface. To let your mind relax is the hardest thing to do and at time you can get so angry, upset, that being able to relax is impossible and frustration rules the day. However, if you truly want serenity in your life you have to train your mind to let go of unwanted emotions. I us water in a lot of my articles because its one of the three ingredients we need to sustain life, it is also means purity in Native culture and it the one element, that makes life possible. Serenity is a state of mind and peace that is within yourself, and with the willingness to let yourself relax. To give into ones uneasiness and become frustrated about life will only lead to negative view on life, as a whole. However if you look at life as an entity that is healthy and full of enjoyment and happiness than you can over come the darker parts of your life with the fortitude and willingness to face the unpleasantness that life throws our way, from time to time. People that are positive and willing to look at life as something to enjoy and not as a place cold and void of happiness will move through life with the grace of an eagle that is flying high in the blue sky. Serenity is the that peace that you feel when your life is going just as planned and you feel like that eagle, free to soar high and travel as far as your wings can take you, with the jubilation to know that life is worth living and good things happen even in darkest of places.
