SERVANTS (2) Mat. 20:27 (CEV) “And if you want to be first, you must be the slave of the rest.“ Mat. 20:27 (BBE) “And whoever has a desire to be first among you, let him take the lowest place:” Servants get underneath each other to lift them up. They seek where they can serve each other. They are done with themselves. The selfish one ask: * what can I get from it? *how does it concern me? *what can I get from it? But servants want to serve. Do not let the others pull you down with them. The servant leaders is the greatest. Servants is the happiest people on earth. Selfish people is the unhappiest. They are never satisfied. Servants do not boast yourself. What you do you must do for God not people. Think about it this way today, that every person that cross your pass is Jesus in disguise (Mat 25:40) Remember people are made through the image of God. So if you serve people, you are actually serving God. If you hurt people and say bad things about them, you are actually doing it to God. There comes a day that the servants will be rewarded. And Jesus wants His followers to reach that point. Jesus says in Mat 25:21 - His lord said to him, Well done, good and true servant: you have been true in a small thing, I will give you control over great things: take your part in the joy of your lord. PRAYER Lord Jesus, please help us to do what we know now You want us to do, and that we can persist until the end...amen
