SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: CURRUMBIN (sent in by supporter) So weve just completed an extremely peaceful protest where not a single violent, aggressive, abusive or slanderous call, sign or chant was made. Yet this how the Gold Coast bulletin has portrayed the protest.... The protest became so fiery police were on standby as a precaution and councillors avoided the mob as they headed inside the council chambers. -Um were we at the same protest?—cause all the police did was stand around looking bored. In fact the only time they stepped in was to direct people away from the main road where they were holding signs as they claimed the Petition Permit didnt allow it? All those who were asked left and there were no altercations. Though I will say police seem abrasive, belligerent and down right rude, meh whats new? Yet the Muslims can run amuck in Sydney with their Jihadist Flags and violent fear mongering slogans.
