SEVERE WEATHER BULLETIN TWENTY FOR: TROPICAL STORM #RubyPH (HAGUPIT) TROPICAL CYCLONE: WARNING ISSUED AT 11:00 PM, 08 DECEMBER 2014 RUBY HAS FURTHER WEAKENED AND IS NOW MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN BATANGAS. • Expected out of landmass: Tomorrow early morning. • Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 – 15 mm per hour (moderate – heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the tropical storm. • TS “RUBY” and the Northeast Monsoon will cause rough to very rough sea conditions over the seaboards of Luzon and Visayas. Fisherfolks and those using small sea craft are advised not to venture out over the said seaboards. • Expected to Exit PAR: Wednesday evening. Location of eye/center: At 10:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm “RUBY” was estimated based on all available data at 45 km South of Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas (13.7°N, 121.1°E). Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. Forecast Movement: Forecast to move West at 13 kph. Forecast Positions: •24 hour (tomorrow evening): 310 km West of Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas. •48 hour (Wednesday evening): 655 km West of Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). •PSWS 2 (Winds of 61-100 kph is expected in at least 24 hrs)Batangas, Northern Oriental Mindoro and Northern Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island. •PSWS 1 (Winds of 30-60 kph is expected in at least 36 hrs) Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Bataan, Cavite, Laguna, Southern Quezon, Marinduque, and the rest of Mindoro Provinces Public Storm Warning Signal elsewhere has been lifted. The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next weather bulletin to be issued at 5 AM tomorrow.
