SEVGI - Such good news! This pup was known to Kathleen and Gulfem who have been such good work neutering in the Patara beach area.A couple of days ago a couple brought it to the clinic for neutering and a check up as they had seen it there.Hasan said it wasnt quite mature enough for neutering but we told them about the work we were doing there with the street animals.The pup was very healthy so we asked that it be returned there rather than left on the unfamiliar streets of Kalkan.The good news is that a German family from Ankara had already fallen in love with the dog and had decided if it was still there by the end of their holiday they would offer it a home with their other rescue dog (from Spain).So today the dog was brought back to the clinic, by its new family, for vaccinations etc before they set off for Ankara tomorrow - they were very surprised to hear that Hasan knew her already!! So pleased that things have worked out so well for this little one,the children were lovely with her,so kind and respectful......
