SHADOW UPDATE 9/16/14: https://youcaring/pleasehelpshadow Shadow arrived at our vets clinic today. He is such a sweet and loving boy - and so grateful he has been rescued! He was bathed and shaved him down, and his skin emanates a very foul odor - possible yeast or bacterial infection. Our vet immediately put him on IV antibiotics because he is starting to exhibit signs of an upper respiratory infection and we dont want him to wind up like Nala. We had complete blood work done including thyroid levels which we are waiting on the results from the lab. He also had a skin culture done which will take several days to get back. Our vet recommends that Shadow see a dermatologist because he may need a biopsy. Poor Shadow has severe dry eye which was probably never treated therefore he has corneal abrasion which he will nee to see an ophthalmologist for soon.
