SHALÓM שלום WORD FOR TODAY WORSHIP Part IV WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW KNOW Continuing the fourth lesson, knowing the Word as a priority in our lives is to accept without doubt the existence of our beloved Father and the sacrifice of his only begotten Son eternal. Be wise in taking the Word and obey it word for word in spirit and truth in faith believing 100%, taking that commission we left our beloved Messiah amen. Following Bible study continued with the blessing of the Creator WORSHIP toward YHVH, meaning that the Creator exists by itself it is I AM THAT I AM, only one is only eternal love. In Malachi 1, God (Creator YHVH) denounces Israel for its improper worship. For that you bring to my altar tainted food, says (V7). Treated subjects worship with disdain, airily, offering blind, lame and sick animals (v8), instead of taking the best they had. They were showing contempt for the seriousness of worship. In verse 10, God (Creator YHVH) said: Im not pleased with you, says the Lord Almighty, and I will accept no offering from your hands. He refused to accept their worship because his attitude was not correct. Also, the book of Amos provides insights into the intensity of the hatred of God (Creator YHVH) to the worship offered with the wrong attitude, we read in Amos; Amos 5 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR 1960) Call to repentance 21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your assemblies. 22 And if ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept, nor will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. 23 Take away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. 24 But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream. In Hosea saw the same truth, read; Hosea 6 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR 1960) 4 What I do unto thee, Ephraim? What shall I do unto thee, O Judah? For your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away. 5 Therefore I cut through the prophets, in the words of my mouth I killed; and thy judgments are as light exiting. 6 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings. This was hypocrisy, not worship. The offerings were empty, like many today. They were guilty of offering the Creator YHVH symbol, but not the real thing. Isaiah 1 presents the same indictment read; Isaiah 1 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR 1960) Call to true repentance 11 To what serves me, saith the multitude of your sacrifices? I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; I do not want the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. 12 Who hath required this at your hands when you come to appear before me to tread my courts? 13 Do not Stop bringing meaningless offerings; incense is an abomination unto me; new moon and sabbath, [a] the calling of assemblies, I can not away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; me are burdensome; I am weary to bear them. 15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; are full of blood your hands. Read carefully the minor prophets. The prophecies of the destruction of Israel and Judah are related to the fact that they worshiped the Creator YHVH with the right attitude. OUR GREATEST NEED Perhaps the greatest need of all Christendom is to have a clear understanding of biblical teaching about worship. When the church does not worship in the appropriate manner, failure in other areas. The world is suffering because of that failure. Most people in the world offers a false worship; the kind of worship that focuses on a tortilla, in material things, rituals or forms, or even divine blessings; or the kind of worship that follows a personal concept, or show a wrong attitude. The Creator YHVH will not accept it, the Bible is clear on this. We must seek a healthy understanding of what worship is. The YHVH Creator has commanded. Our ministry depends on this. It is crucial to our relationship with Him and our witness in this world. We can no longer ignore it. There is too much at stake.
