SHAMA’IL SHAREEF: PROPHET salalahu alyhi wasalam ‘S HAPPINESS FOR HIS RIGHTEOUS UMMATI As we know the Prophet salalahu alyhi wasalam always guided his Sahaba’s in everything. Every action and every word of the Prophet salalahu alyhi wasalam was Sunnah and guidance. From the clothing of Sunnah till which hand one should eat with, Prophet salalahu alyhi wasalam also showed his blessed companions the importance of Ramadhan from which we can learn the importance of it as well. The Prophet Muhammad salalahu alyhi wasalam has said that when the month of Ramadhan enters, a cool breeze descends upon the Heavens from underneath the mighty throne of Allah. This breeze is named Maseerah. It is in a noor like form, the effects of it come on to the Earth and the blessed Heart of the Prophet salalahu alyhi wasalam feels its presence. He salalahu alyhi wasalam said that this makes my heart happy, and it feels at peace. However, they then said when I am meeting my pious ummati and I see they have followed my Sunnah and that they are Righteous people, this makes my soul even happier. Allah has said (to the nearest meaning), ‘When my servant comes to me a distance of one step, I will come to him a distance an arm’s length, and if he comes towards me walking then I will come towards him running.’ Similarly the Prophet Muhammad salalahu alyhi wasalam has said that we should make the first step towards him. We have a desire to meet him and see him salalahu alyhi wasalam, he is waiting for us on the road of Sunnah, on the road of Siraat-e-Mustaqeem. All we have to do is embark onto that road, and the rest will be an easy flight to success. Yes there will be obstacles on the way, there will be a foggy path but similar to when we get tested before getting a job, to see if we can really live up to it, Allah tests the people to see if this person is worthy of his Friendship.
