SHAME SHAME SHAMI.... ISIS supporters can no longer follow the pro-terror group Twitter account bearing the name @ShamiWitness. Apparently, Channel 4 News has uncovered the identity of the account holder who cheered the ISIS and promoted terrorism. Twitter account Shami Witness, with 20,000 followers, was created and managed by a Bangalore executive named Mehdi, reports Channel 4 News. The account was a hit among the foreign Jihadis and was viewed nearly 2 million times a month. Mehdi followed the Syrian wars closely and posted tweets cheering the ISIS wars and encouraged people to become Jihadis. He promoted the Islamic militant groups propaganda and played a vital role in connecting the ISIS, recruits and supporters. While he grew very influential and emerged as one of ISIS spokespersons, none knew who he was or where he was from, until Channel 4 decided to probe him. Mehdi expressed that he too wanted to join the ISIS, but he couldnt do so as his family is dependant on him. If I had a chance to leave everything and join them I might have.. my family needs me here, the Bangalore executive told Channel 4 News. He justified the notorious beheadings carried out by ISIS saying all honest Muslims supported them. He also pleaded with Channel 4 News not to reveal his full identity as it would compromise with his privacy and possibly endanger his life. Shami Witness tweets, (Deccan Herald)
