SHARE THIS PAGE IF YOU KNOW ME PERSONALLY AND WHAT AM I ABOUT. THIS IS NOT A REGULAR FACEBOOK BS - THIS IS THE TRUTH. THANKS IN ADVANCE! Dear friends! For those of you who were asking what am I going to the USA for - the statement below will explain the purpose plain and simple. I did not plan it to go this way - but once you face unexpected adversities - any measure is legit, any assistance is appreciated. Before you read this, you should know that I have already done a good effort to contact the relevant audience: my free time and all my funds are in it; Ive been dealing with police, living and sleeping on streets and bus stations for days, campaigning for 26 hours in negative temperatures etc. I dont know what could have been done better, but I learn, regroup and do not quit. The problem is - it is hard to reach the right people to hear me out. Your attention and assistance could make a difference. Sooner or later the message will fall at the right place. My goal is not impossible. I know I can do it. I am not alone on this: everyone who spoke to me about the matter did show their genuine support and faith - my family, my friends, my colleagues, random people from New York to Florida that Ive met during this journey, even the police officers, who were sent to either question me or escort me off the premisses. To Whom It May Concern: Faith In Achieving Seemingly Impossible Is Strongly Required: STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Vladimir Kedrov and I hope this message will find you well. Native of undisclosed Tajikistan, I travelled across the globe willingly leaving aside my secure career in Germany and promising business opportunities in China for a single goal – winning the NBA Championship. All the previous contact efforts resulted in no response or either “No, you can’t” – an unacceptable attitude in any sport, so I came to the US on my own to prove all skeptics wrong. I can and I dare. I was getting prepared for a decade and a half; walked thousands miles and spent countless hours for a shot at this. You are my ears, my associate – I truly count on your faith and passion for the game where amazing happens to support my appeal. When your goal is winning the NBA Championship, you should have a starting point in the organization that competes for the trophy. I am ready to start right now, at any position, as a volunteer with nothing in return – to be able to earn the trust, respect and position required to win the Champion’s Ring. Basketball is international game and NBA is a global phenomenon embracing diversity and inclusion. I believe, if proven worthy, everyone deserves a chance to compete for the highest award in the league, regardless the country of origin – all I need is a chance to prove that I belong here and deserve the honour. At 6’3, 191 lb, age 30, with all-around offensive and defensive skills set and international playing experience - I should, nevertheless, be realistic about my inability to compete in the league as a player among the world’s best athletes. It is not the statement of defeat, but in a young men league you should be poised about choosing the direction to excel. Therefore, I am interested in focusing on learning and mastering the functions of a league’s coach to achieve the ultimate goal of winning. You might rightfully ask – what makes me think I deserve the honor of being a member of an elite organization such as an NBA franchise? What can I offer in return? Believe it or not – my knowledge and skills would make a long list of valuable intangibles that make a difference between the W and the L. If choosing only one, though, I would point out my personality and character, ability to level with people, genuinely care for each player, cultivating trust and friendship to inspire the team to go beyond public expectations. That is what John Wooden did. That is what Larry Brown and Gregg Popovich still do. I can do it as well. I am good at it. Give me a chance and observe curiously. Although, I know about the game, the NBA as an organization and the teams more than you could possibly expect from a Tajikistan’s native – it is the passion, flaring in every word of this statement that, I hope, should catch your attention. To conclude: it is not only about the love for the game of basketball, it is how I live my life. Once you know what you love – it is a personal duty to pursue your goal, to get the best out of it, with all gumption available, on top of your natural abilities. I believe, with the attitude like this, winning – is only a matter of WHEN, not IF. 22.01.2015, Atlanta, GA My contacts in the US: Mobile phone number: 718 6759041 (valid till Feb. 8, 2015) E-mail: vladimir.kedrov@gmail
