[SHARE] WHATS YOUR GOAL Dawah in DUNDEE CITY CENTRE this week was Sooo Busy!!! Great response! We had the Recent Reverts helping us distribute flyers for our upcoming event inviting people to the Mosque to Eat Food with us throughout Ramadan! Starting on the 5th July! We gave Dawah to someone who was explaining that Conscious Experience is the best way to learn about the world. When we explained that there are some things we believe that are not through experience, by applying logic and reason, for example our parents being our real parents! We didnt experience it directly, we only add up and assess the evidence! For example, our parents have told us, and other people who were in the room when we were born have told us, and the doctor who delivered us told us and the certificate of birth and parents and the date are there. Then we apply reason to conclude that this is MOST LIKELY to be true. Abraham Pirry also gave Dawah to a Philosopher, who started the conversation with an accusation that Abraham was looking for certainty, and that nothing in life is certain. When Abraham agreed with him, that you cannot prove something to be 100% True, and explained that Islam is the Most Likely out of all scenarios, and asked the Philosopher if you can get something from nothing, he said that you can (Misunderstanding of Quantum Physics) and that it is a Fact! Abraham asked him, how he can say that it is an absolute established fact, if there is no such thing as certainty, and you cannot 100% Prove anything. He then explained to the Philosopher that he is not claiming that his belief is a FACT, he is merely saying using logic, reason, science and common sense, Islam is the Most Likely and Probable. He didnt know what to say and laughed. Great Day! Much Interest! Many contact details taken! Great to engage with the wider society! [LIKE and SHARE]
