SHARE: WRITE LETTER TO RAISE AWARENESS & CAMPAIGN TO SAVE OUR ISLAMIC HERITAGE IN SAUDI ARABIA Dear Ambassador : We are extremely disturbed, dismayed and frustrated to witness destruction of Islamic Heritage in Saudi Arabia for construction of hotels, public toilets, commercial buildings, etc. We demand Saudi Government to come into media and assure 1.6 billion Muslims of the world that no more Islamic Heritage buildings will be destroyed in Saudi Arabia. We demand the following: (1) Saudi authorities ensure the Muslim world that the Green Dome of Prophet Mohammad (saws) will not be touched ever. Also, No new Domes will be made in the proposed expansion of Masjid-e-Nabawi bigger than the Green Dome. All expansion of Masjid-e-Nabawi to be done in the northern side, behind the present mosque. (2) Saudi Government should immediately restore Heritage memorials of Baqi in Madinah and Mu’allah in Makka without wasting any more time. Also, Saudi Government should publicly apologize to the Muslim of the world for the destruction of these sanctuaries in the hands of their Government in early 20th Century. The ugly wrong committed in the past should be apologized and a new beginning made by restoring these sanctuaries. (3) The Public Toilet made near the House of Prophet Mohammad (saws) in Makka should be destroyed and sanctity of the place is restored with immediate effect.
