SHAREABLE: Lemon glut??? At our house- yes!! I made a brew of lemon cordial this morning and it smells delightful. One of ourEGSers -Jayne, posted a lemon cordial recipe some time back so heres a refreshing reminder:-) INGREDIENTS •1.5 kg lemons •2 kg sugar- I used 1.75kg •1.7 litres boiling water •28.3 gm citric acid •28.3 gm tartaric acid. METHOD: •Wash and peel lemons with veggie peeler, then squeeze the juice. • Mix juice and clean peeled skins with all the other ingredients in a large basin/pot. • Stir once. •Leave to steep overnight. •Strain through fine sieve and bottle. •Freezes well.
