Shawna Dortch/Thorpe (Sometimes known as: Shawna Taylor) is posing as a new horse rescue, and collecting more free horses that she cannot care for properly. In 2010, Shawna Dortch/Thorpe was featured on WIS NEWS, and several state-wide SC newspapers when over 20 horses were seized from her rescue in terrible condition. Shawna was forced to return many horses, when the SPCA were made aware that Shawna was getting free rescue horses donated, and was turning around and selling them for a large profit. She was also receiving donations from kind people, who wanted to help feed horses in need, and Shawna was spending all the money on herself to fund her expensive pill addition, and massive appetite. This woman is a disgusting human being who scammed so many people, and harmed so many innocent horses. She is the worst kind of person that there is.. The kind who will steal from those most in need. She has a truly rotten soul. I will include many of the news reports to this post. Dont let her abuse anymore horses! Stop her from taking anymore free horses by posing as a rescue!
