SHEPHERDS & HEALING THE WOUNDED- As I have been praying, teaching & prophesying concerning this EMERGING MOVE and coming PARADIGM SHIFT I have realized that deep wounds have sidelined many. I have shared about the strategic importance of the Apostolic & Prophetic gifts in this move. It is vitally important that we realize the value and strength of the pastoral gift and it’s role in the move as well. In 1 Cor. 12:28 there are seven different streams of ministry identified plus tongues as a gateway spiritual gift. I believe that the pastoral gift is represented in that passage as Healings because it is the shepherd that leads the battered soul beside still waters and pours out the love of God to bring total restoration. One of the primary components of this paradigm shift is that ministry gifts will no longer just “do the work” but they will ACTIVATE and EQUIP the body, awakening gifts within God’s people. The prophets will not just prophesy but also impart and raise up believers to be prophetic people. It is the same with the Pastoral gift, while we will have pastors who lead groups of people we will also have impartation that establishes the pastoral flow in the hearts of believers who come alive and begin to disciple, love and lead their brothers & sisters. It is going to take a whole host of pastors and pastoral believers to usher in the wounded and bring them to healing. Each STREAM, gift and ministry is vital in this MOVE. The pastoral office and ACTIVATION of leaders to have a shepherding heart is crucial in order to care for and minister to those who God brings into the house. There is a GREAT HEALING mantle being cast in this hour and one dimension of that mantle is HEALING of WOUNDED souls, along with REFRESHING for the WEARY. I pray and PROPHESY that the pastoral stream FLOWS strong and leads MANY to absolute restoration in this hour so that they can take their PLACE and be on the FRONT LINES of this EMERGING move. John 10:11- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.
