For the honest, they can walk in with that dog, pay a small fee, maybe answer some questions and then they walk out with an empty collar. For everyone else, they can walk in with that dog, claim the dog is a stray, and then leave without even paying a surrender fee. Easy as it may be for the former owner, this situation is simply a nightmare for dogs like Shiba. This pretty girl is only 10 months old and she was trying to grow into the best pet she could be, but her people decided they had no time for her when really, they were probably just too lazy to cope with owning a pet. Shiba is in heat, which must add another whole dimension of terror to her ACC experience, and tomorrow morning shes scheduled to confront the worst terror of them all. The next person who takes this puppy out of her cage will be the euth technician, unless someone comes up with a solid plan to save her life, tonight!
