Today I want to offer my THANKS to my sons Jordan and Tucker and my unofficially adopted son Isaiah. From the first moment each one them graced my life, my SHINE took on a whole new sparkle. They have been a constant inspiration for me to keep SHINING. Thanks guys for your Special Shine that keeps giving. In todays installment of Shine On with Carla-Rae, I am excited to share with you some of my ALTAR-Native music. TODAY, please allow me to take you on a home grown, musical journey with cultural flair. Over 14 years ago I experienced an event in my life that plunged me into a spiritual make it or break it journey. I entered a spiritual wilderness place and was DIVINELY given the lyrics and basic melody of my song called CAN YOU HEAR MY HEARTBEAT? This song has served as a comfort and a compass to guide me to the place I have come to today...UP and OUT of the Wilderness... One day it will be a full blown recorded master piece. Today, join me in the basics. While I do not profess to be a musician, I do have a HEARTBEAT that is drawing you to the SHINE. Come on lets journey together. So, there you have it.
