SHOOTING IN PARKS, NO BASIS IN SCIENCE & FACES OF ALLEGED ILLEGAL NATIONAL PARKS HUNTERS REVEALED: Thursday, June 27th, 2013 702 ABC Radio Sydney Recreational hunters claim, that they will provide effective feral animal control in NSW National parks, if given access, is being refuted by an environmental scientist. Dr Daniel Ramp, Senior Lecturer in the School of Environmental Science at the University of Technology Sydney told Scott Levi that, in fact, sometimes, selectively shooting the larger feral animals can lead to a population increase. He also speaks about the ethics and effectivness of this style of feral animal control in the National Park environment.
