SHORT GAME PRACTICE: During this practice round, she wanted to focus on setting up with her left foot under her shoulder and lifting her left heel during her takeaway. She said she seemed to be hitting the ball harder and was more confident that the ball would go where she was aiming. On this PAR 3 course, she had many opportunities to get used to lifting her left heel. She did well. She also got to practice high pitch shots into greens from 100 yards out at 5 yard intervals into 15 yards. She was very accurate on her aim, but up to 20 yards short of her target. She should be ready for her tournament in a few days.
