SHOT Show day one highlights: First and foremost, Benellis first over/under break-action shotgun. Called the 828U, this innovative shotgun looks thoroughly unique with some very interesting extractors and a floating breech! Second, we have the Savage A17. This is a lightweight and purposeful semi-automatic rimfire chambered in .17 HMR. Interestingly, this blowback operated gun uses a rotary mag obviously inspired by the famous Ruger 10/22 magazines. Third, we have the second generation of Kel-Tec Sub 2000, which is a well-thought out update that (in our opinion) feels far, far more solid than the old one. Fourth is a new Leatherman multitool that is centered around survival, with a knife sharperner, fire-starter, hammer, and a bunch of other tools inside. Its only slightly wider than our current favourite multitool; the Skeletool, and you best believe that well be reviewing this one soon. And fifth is something no one expected: A Leatherman watch. With a Swiss movement, sapphire crystal, and a mryiad of screwdrivers, cutters, wrenches, and other tools incorporated into the bracelet, this thing came out of left field!
