***SHOULD OLD ACQUAINTANCE BE FORGOT? *** Do owners ever really consider what a senior dog goes through when they are abandoned at a facility like the ACC? In the blink of an eye Cezar went from all that has been familiar for 9 years to a small kennel in a crowded, loud, smelly place. He has watched dogs being taken from their kennels and walked to a room from which they never returned. Ceza has the wisdom that comes with age, and he is VERY aware of the jeopardy he is in, and this has started to take its toll – physically and mentally. Surely there is a ‘home’ with the patience, understanding, and the willingness to help Cezar decompress from this ‘experience’ and re-emerge as the loyal, loving family member he had always been.
