SIDE BY SIDE (Getting the ball rolling!) Taken at Cathedral cove at dusk with pink light up above. A Lee big stopper was used and for those who use it, you know it gives a terrible blue cyan cast to the image. The adjustments to get the final result were: 1. WB correction to 2 versions, one a little cooler for the darker parts of the sky, a second version warmer for the rock and warm light - blended in photoshop. I find that works better for me rather than working on the same file. 2. Severe dust bunny cloning!! 3. Reducing noise through very slight horizontal blur of the foreground and radial blur of the sky. 4. Local contrast enhancement with curves for rock detail in luminosity mode 5.
