SIERRA LEONE DESERVES BETTER...and with a collective, definitive and direct effort, we can give it to her. 53 years of the same thing is enough and we are sick and tired of it and we will no longer take it. We cant solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. - Albert Einstein. Anyone who is looking to change things in our beloved Salone, has to come from this mindset. Anything else is not worth the effort. The problems were caused by the thinking of our leaders going back for decades and decades. Any thought of solutions should NOT and CANNOT include any of these past and present leaders. Thats where I stand. I will stand alone if I have to, but stand I will, and speak my piece. All the patch woke has to end. We have changed leaders and parties since 1961, what good has that done? The people in both parties are rotten to the core and have been forever. They are all guilty of two major things ........they have no ideas and they are corrupt. A very bad combination. This is not a knock on the present administration, it is an indictment on ALL OF THEM, PAST AND PRESENT!! A new Sierra Leone is not going to come from anyone presently occupying office in the administration, or anyone who had enjoyed that privilege in the past. A new Sierra Leone has to be from without, from concerned citizens who care, irrespective of party, tribal or ethnic affiliations Of course now the conundrum becomes, how do we go about accomplishing that? A daunting task indeed!! For a country where the citizens have been used to saying ....WAE FOR DO to one where the citizens say YES WE CAN, will be a monumental task. I am not smart enough to figure that out, but I am sure that with all our leaned people in Sierra leone and in diaspora someone will come up with a plan. One thing is certain OUR COUNTRY AS WE KNOW IT CANNOT CONTINUE LIKE THIS. It has to end somewhere, why not now? I have laid out my thinking, lets see what others think. Maybe in our discourse we will discover how to go about ridding our country of the evil which we have endured for 53 years( since independence) I would like to include the colonials, but they are gone and only their sycophants helpers remain.
