SIGNS AND GODWINKS “My MOM passed away unexpectedly so I immediately took a flight back home. I wanted to stroll the beautiful WALKING PATH she constructed leading up to her 150 year old cottage. It was lined with cute animals, birdhouses, etc. I noticed TWO PINWHEELS she had put out where the path turned. They were STILL. There was not a breath of wind that day. As I approached the pinwheels my tears were flowing freely. I whispered to Mom how I was feeling and ASKED FOR A SIGN that she was hearing me. ONE PINWHEEL STARTED TO SPIN at quite a rapid rate. The other one did not move. They were identical and side-by-side. It spun for about 30 seconds and stopped. I walked a few steps away and looked back. I whispered a few more sentences and the same pinwheel STARTED to spin AGAIN. I returned, picked it up, and took it with me. After her service I brought it home to put in a flowerbox out side my office where I can see it constantly. Several times as I have whispered to her photo in my office I would look out at the pinwheel, ask if she could hear me, and the PINWHEEL WOULD slowly start to TURN, as soon as I asked. Maybe not always rapidly, but it would spin. I believe with all my heart that this GODWINK was letting me know I was CONNECTING with her.” All the best Rick Gehrke •••• It never ceases to amaze me how GODWINKS seem to be more prevalent at times of SORROW ... almost like God needs to let us know that he understands our pain. But, when we ask for a SIGN, we are uttering a prayer, whether we know it or not ... and the ANSWERED prayer is a godwink. Like Rick, let’s ask for signs today ... see if get a godwink. W&W SQ
